Christmas 2012

Christmas was so much fun this year because Ty was older and got into opening all the presents.  It was so fun seeing him get so excited!!!  I think it is fair to say he got spoiled again from us, his grandparents and his birth parents!!!!

 He didn't like Santa this year.   We tried a few different times and different parties but he had the same reaction.  Maybe next year he will like Santa :)

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

A couple weeks ago my dad turned the big 60! We wanted to do something special for him for his birthday so me and my sisters started to plan away. We decided that we would have a surprise party for him and invite all his close friends and family and then make him a video of pictures of his life since we all know how much he loves pictures. Well December 11th rolled around and we headed over to our clubhouse and slowly everyone started coming. My dad walked in and he was so shocked. It was awesome. We had a refreshment table set up and everyone that we invited that could come came so we had a great turn out. After everyone had visited and chatted for awhile we surprised my dad with his video! It turned out awesome and everyone loved it. I could just watch it over and over again. It was such an awesome night that we will not forget. Everything turned out perfect and I'm so glad that we followed through with our plan. My dad is the best and has always been so loving and supportive to all of us so it was just a little thing we could do to give back to him a little. We will never be able to pay him back for all he had done for us but it was so fun to do something for him for once that he knew nothing about!! We love our dad!!!!
